ESAComp 4.6Launched on March 15, ESAComp 4.6 is now available for download via our Customer Portal. This release includes new and enhanced capabilities, such as:

  • Python scripting
  • Panel/cylinder enhancements
  • New thick-walled CPV capability and enhanced shell model in Composicad-ESAComp module
  • For HyperWorks users, new workflow and improved FE post-processing features
  • Updates to ESAComp Data Bank

All these new features are reflected in a comprehensive revision of our ESAComp documentation and Example Cases. Read more...

ESAComp now provides structural analysis of thick-walled pressure vessels from winding patterns imported from ComposicaD filament winding simulation. For HyperWorks users, ESAComp provides fully integrated solution for pre- and post-processing of composite structures, allowing ply-by-ply investigation of failure modes using advanced failure criteria.

ESAComp – the established design and analysis tool for optimizing CPV in association with SSA's ComposicaD filament winding simulation tool – announce their 3D solid modelling capability of CPVs on top of the current shell-based approach. The winding process simulation data is translated to a 3D structural model and makes the analysis of thick pressure vessels easy and efficient.

André Mönicke will be giving a quick overview of ESAComp in his presentation, and will be pleased to meet you in the exhibition area throughout the event to discuss how ESAComp can help within your CPV design workflow.
